Tokens let authors and instructors customize text for different schools. Here’s an author writing an exercise:


Notice the token `[custom:rival-school]`. The token is replaced by different text in different contexts. For example, one of the University of Michigan’s rivals is Michigan State University. Here’s what a student at the University of Michigan might see:

A Michigan State student would see “University of Michigan” in the same place.

Tokens have 101 handy uses. For example, tell students where they can get more help:
